Since Prince Louis was born in April of this year, the youngest of the Queen’s great-grandchildren and Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children has remained relatively out of the public eye in comparison to his elder siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte. But Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge shared a sweet little tidbit about how her youngest child is doing during an official appearance with Prince William in Leceister on Wednesday.

The mother of three told well-wishers, “Louis’ getting bigger, I can’t believe he’s like seven months, he’s getting to be a big boy,” according to People. The updates didn’t stop there, either. Middleton also shared how her two older children are doing in the lead up to the 2018 holiday season. “They’re doing well, thank you,” she told a well-wisher. “They’re getting excited for Christmas time because they’ve started all their Christmas songs and the Christmas trees are going up.”

Most recently, all three members of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal brood were seen together in their Grandfather Prince Charles’ birthday portraits, which were released earlier this month. The darling photos show Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis with their parents, as well as their aunt and uncle Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and grandparents Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. But we may see the royal children again soon, as they are expected to release their annual holiday card sometime before Christmas.

While at the appearance, Middleton also briefly opened up about her excitement about the arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first child in spring 2019. “It’s such a special time to have little kiddies. And a cousin for George and Charlotte, as well, and Louis. It’ll be really special,” she told onlookers.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in Leceister to pay their respects to the victims of the helicopter crash outside the Leicester City Football Club Stadium. Following the solemn appearance, the couple received gifts for their children including little LCFC jerseys with their names on the back.
