Just a few weeks after the second royal wedding of the year, Prince Andrew made Jack Brooksbank's place in the royal family internet-official with a page on the Duke of York's website. The biography gives a summation of his educational background and explores a few of his hobbies like skiing, tennis, and football. The page also notes that "Since meeting Princess Eugenie, he has developed a keen interest in contemporary art and, whenever possible, will attend functions with her and is learning a great deal about art," and that he plans to work alongside her in her charitable efforts. Here's what else you need to know about Princess Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank.

HE WAS "A LITTLE BIT NERVOUS" FOR HIS ROYAL WEDDING.

Ahead of the big day, he told Daily Mail columnist Sebastian Shakespeare, "I’ll need to take a few minutes for myself before the speeches, because I’m terrified. It’s very exciting, but I’m a little bit nervous.” He may breathe a little easier on the big day, however, knowing his brother is by his side. It was announced today by the Palace that Thomas Brooksbank will serve as his brother's best man.

HE CELEBRATED HIS 32ND BIRTHDAY BACK IN MAY.

Princess Eugenie marked the occasion with a post on her newly minted Instagram:

JACK REPORTEDLY MET PRINCESS EUGENIE WHILE IN VERBIER, SWITZERLAND.

Brooksbank, 32, started dating Eugenie, 27, seven years ago. They met while skiing in the Swiss resort town where Eugenie's parents co-own a home, and continued dating long-distance when Eugenie moved to New York City briefly for her career.

"We met when I was 20 and Jack was 24, and fell in love," Eugenie said of her soon-to-be husband in an interview with the BBC. "We have the same passions and drive for life. It's so nice that we get to share this moment with everyone, and you get to meet Jack."

HIS IN-LAWS SEEM TO LIKE HIM.

"Jack is an absolutely outstanding young man and Eugenie and he have got to know each other over a number of years, and I’m really thrilled for them," Prince Andrew said following the engagement announcement. "I’m just completely overjoyed for them and wish them every happiness," he continued.

Eugenie's mother, Sarah Ferguson, also shared her enthusiasm for her future son-in-law on Twitter this morning. "We love Jack and I am so excited to have a son," she wrote.

She also spoke kindly about him in a recent interview with the BBC. “Jack is a really sort of amazing bringer of light and he brings joy," she said. "I say to Jack, ‘Always just stay yourself,’ and I’d say that to anybody, just be yourself. What else can you do in life?”

Fergie also loves Jack's career choice. "The good news is Jack also works as the European Manager for Casamigos Tequila, so I am perfect," she said. "He’ll just hand me the tequila and say, ‘Come on, mother-in-law, down it’."

AND HE'S SPENT TIME WITH THE REST OF THE ROYAL FAMILY.

Brooksbank has become something of a regular at recent royal events. Last summer, he was spotted at the Royal Ascot (above), and he's attended the annual Chelsea Flower Show in the past as well.

BROOKSBANK IS THE SON OF AN ACCOUNTANT.

This year, two commoners will be joining the royal family, Meghan Markle and Mr. Brooksbank. Brooksbank's parents are Nicola and George, an accountant and a company director, per People. He also has one brother named Thomas.

BUT HIS FAMILY DOES HAVE ROYAL CONNECTIONS.

Jack is descended from the Brooksbank baronets, according to the Telegraph. A baronet is a title just below baron.

HE ESCHEWED UNIVERSITY, AND WENT STRAIGHT INTO THE HOSPITALITY FIELD.

Growing up, Brooksbank's parents sent him to the private Stowe school in Buckinghamshire, England. He then skipped university, diving into a career in hospitality. At one point he managed the popular London nightclub Mahiki, and is currently the U.K. ambassador for George Clooney and Rande Gerber's tequila brand, Casamigos. According to the Daily Mail, Brooksbank has previously spoken about a dream to open a chain of "hostelries."

"I have fond memories of Sunday roasts in pubs with log fires, and it's something I want to recreate," he reportedly said.

Just last week he revealed that they'll be serving Casamigos at the wedding. "I’ve not been kept out of all the planning. I get to decide some things. I’m in charge of drinks and we’ll be serving Casamigos," he said.
