Summer is upon us, and as the days grow hotter, so does our desire to hit the beach. And while we generally think of our past presidents as dignified men in suits, they, too, wanted to escape the heat. Thanks to the Presidential Museum and Library's Flickr page, we have a pretty good idea of how they spent their summers. 

One revelation: Protocol used to be far more relaxed when it came to pantslessness.
