Kensington Palace has just released details about the wedding rings Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wore after reciting their wedding vows.
The royal couple chose royal jeweler Cleave and Company to make the rings. Meghan’s ring was “fashioned from a piece of Welsh Gold,” given to her by Queen Elizabeth II, while Harry’s simple platinum band features a textured finished.
The jewelers in charge of designing and crafting the wedding rings, Cleave and Company, currently hold two royal warrants granted by the Queen and the Prince of Wales. Her Majesty acknowledged the company as “Manufacturers of Insignia,” while Prince Charles awarded the warrant for Cleave’s exceptional medals. The company is rooted in tradition and heritage, and count numerous heads of states, palaces, and governments from 40 countries as their loyal patrons.
