The Trooping the Colour may have marked Queen Elizabeth's 91st birthday, but it was Prince George who stole the show. Here are the best faces made by George during the royal celebration.

Not even great-grandfather Philip could persuade George that the Trooping the Colour parade was entertaining.

The young prince drew back from the celebrations, declining to smile.

"If I must, I'll look at these planes dad, but I really don't see what the big deal is."

The three-year-old found the fly-past amusing even if he was looking in the opposite direction.

George's obvious display of boredom seemingly didn't go down well with his father, as pictured here.

Nothing like an overbite expression to show disinterest.

Eventually, the prince raised his hand to cover his eyes - perhaps to shield himself from the sun, perhaps because he was overcome with fatigue.

The Duchess tries to engage her son to little avail.

George, once again, looks utterly bored. Or just hot and bothered.

Here's a facial expression that clearly says, "Can we just go now?"
