What's the best way to applaud the achievements of four stellar chefs in one gathering? Ask them to leave their chef's aprons in the kitchen and enjoy a special meal prepared by those who are poised to follow in their footsteps.

Asia’s Best Female Chef awardees Margarita Fores, Vicky Lau, Bo Songvisava, and Lanshu Chen (represented by chefs from her restaurant Le Mout), who will be collaborating for the first time in an effort to raise funds for UNICEF, were given a welcome tribute dinner hosted by Town&Country Philippines and Focus Global, the home of premium furnishing brands such as Ethan Allen, B&B Italia, Sub Zero, Miele, and Siematic in the Philippines.

For the evening's four-course dinner, chefs Karla Mendoza, Tippi Tambunting, Happy Ongpauco Tiu, and Sunshine Puey whipped up a superb menu titled Memories of My Childhood. The night's four honorees, Asia's Best Female Chefs, will do the same at the UNICEF Children's Ball on March 4. They are set to present dishes inspired by their childhood. Margarita Fores will cook dishes inspired by her "upbringing in a food-loving, Ilonggo or Negrense household, full of sweetness" while Vicky Lau, Lanshu Chen, and Bo Songvisava will reinvent flavors and meals from their local cuisine.

Other guests included Summit Media president Lisa Gokongwei Cheng and Town&Country March cover subject Carmen Jimenez Ong.
