It’s easy to see that Christmas is the biggest production of all—the last minute panic buying, the horrendous traffic, and the overindulging that comes with every dinner party attended. In the midst of all the madness, treat yourself and the whole family to A Christmas Carol, 9 Works Theatrical’s latest musical based on Charles Dickens’ 1843 novella. Centering on the cold-hearted, Christmas-hating miser Ebenezer Scrooge, it’s a story of redemption, love, and kindness; but most of all it’s a reminder to help those in need whenever we can.

Miguel Faustmann as Ebenezer Scrooge

Join Scrooge as he is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, who take him through a frightening yet heartwarming journey that ends with a change of heart. “I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year,” Scrooge declares as he turns over a new leaf.

With music by theater legend Alan Menken and Tony Award-winning lyricist Lynn Ahrens, 9 Works Theatrical and Globe Live join forces once more to “relive the true meaning of Christmas through song and dance.” Miguel Faustmann stars as Ebenezer Scrooge with Noel Rayos, Franco Laurel, Nico Dans, Rissey Reyes, Jaime Yupangco, and Elai Estrella joining the cast. Robbie Guevara directs with Onyl Torres as assistant director and Daniel Bartolome as musical director. December 7 to 10, 14 to 17, 21 to 23, and 25 to 27 at 7 P.M., Globe Iconic Store at Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater, Bonifacio Global City; 586.7105, 0917.554.5560; [email protected].
