There are still a few episodes left to air in The Good Place's third season, but NBC has already renewed the show for a fourth run. Given its continued critical success—The Good Place has been nominated for a slew of awards, including a 2019 Golden Globe for Best TV Series—it's no small wonder why NBC has given showrunner Michael Schur another green light.

Below, we've rounded up what we know so far about season four of everyone's favorite philosophy show.

WE CAN EXPECT IT TO DEBUT IN SEPTEMBER OF THIS YEAR.

While Netflix and HBO are subject to switch around their air dates, traditional networks like NBC tend to stick to the classic fall premiere schedule, and has slotted each season of The Good Place to drop in September.

THE SEASON WILL LIKELY SPAN 13 EPISODES.

Although there hasn't been official word on the fourth season's length, all three of the previous runs have contained 13 episodes, and it's likely that the latest will follow suit.

WHILE WE WAIT FOR THE NEW SEASON TO ROLL OUT, THERE ARE A LOT OF WAYS TO CATCH UP ON EXISTING THE GOOD PLACE CONTENT.

The Good Place airs on NBC, but there are several ways to access past seasons. The first two seasons are available to stream on Netflix, and several episodes from the current run are on offer from Hulu. NBC's own online platform also has season three, with the more recent episodes open to all, and the earlier ones available to anyone with a cable login.

While The Good Place isn't free for Amazon Prime members, Prime video does give users the option to purchase previous episodes or seasons.
