The upcoming Noah Baumbach film Marriage Story, which will be released on Netflix this fall, is taking the adage "there are two sides to every story" quite literally.

In the movie, Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson play Charlie and Nicole, a married couple who clearly love each other but ultimately fall apart. Today, Netflix dropped companion trailers that show the course of the relationship from both spouses' point of view.

In one trailer, titled "What I Love About Charlie," we hear from Nicole. Over a soulful, female-sung cover of Otis Redding's "I've Been Loving You Too Long," we learn that Charlie is a good dresser, cries at the movies, and loves being a dad. In fact, as Nicole says in the trailer, "it's almost annoying how much he likes it."

The second trailer, titled "What I Love About Nicole," features the original Otis Redding track in the background. Throughout the video, Charlie admires that his wife is a good dancer, knows how to give the perfect present, and "is a mother who really plays" with the kids. And, Charlie notes that Nicole is competitive, as evidenced by a scene of the family playing Monopoly.

But after the sweet sentiments and loving moments between the couple, there's a shift towards the end of each trailer. A tense conversation and a courtroom scene seem to spell an unhappy ending for Charlie and Nicole.

The film—which has a star-studded supporting cast, including Laura Dern, Alan Alda, and Ray Liotta— will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday, August 29th. Marriage Story will be in select theaters and on Netflix this fall.
