After a holiday season filled with tear-jerking, heartwarming Christmas advertisements,one spot has claimed the title as the most popular ad of the 2017 holiday season.
Surprisingly enough, it wasn't the beloved Heathrow bears, Moz the Monster for John Lewis, or Paddington Bear's adorable Marks & Spencer ad that took the top spot. It was Kevin the Carrot, the star of Aldi's holiday commercial.

A data firm called 4C Insights studied the social media posts about each ad to gauge overall public response. The company calculated the "social lift" of each advertisement, which included how frequently it was mentioned on social media in the first five minutes it aired and how often the brands were mentioned before the ads were released, House Beautiful UK reports. The experts found that the audience had the strongest reaction to Aldi's ad starring Kevin, with a life of 152 percent.
