From the big screen to the putting green, we've put together some of our favorite Halloween costume ideas for when the two of you want to go trick-or-treating together.

1. Elvis & Priscilla Presley as Newlyweds

The couple got hitched in 1967. Channel the bride with a black bouffant, tiara, and veil; get Elvis' look with a black paisley tux.

2. Breakfast at Tiffany's

Shop your closet: All you need for Holly Golightly and Paul Varjak's iconic looks are a strand of pearls and a little black dress and a coat and tie.

3. Daisy and Gatsby

Whether you look to Robert Redford or Leonardo, you can't go wrong with flapper-inspired dress, hats, and diamonds.

4. Downton Abbey

Dress up like Mrs. Patmore and Daisy for a step back in time or try to recreate one of these looks.

5. Betty and Don Draper

There is plenty of '60s inspiration to be taken from Mad Men. You can even bid on a few props to ace your Halloween style.

6. Golfing Couple

Time to dig your clubs out the closet and practice your golf clap because this preppy costume is up to par. Find painter coveralls from the hardware store and attach the last name of your golfer to the back of the suit. Don't forget to add a touch of the famous Masters green!

7. Sandy and Danny

Skip the poodle skirts and cardigans this year and recreate the closing scene of the classic '50s movie, Grease. (Bonus: this works for a larger group as well.)

8. Borg vs. McEnroe

We approve of wearing athlesiure in public on Halloween (sweatbands included).

9. Carrie and Mr. Big

The most doable costume on the list! Channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big by throwing on your favorite date-night outfits.

10. I Dream of Jeannie

Play the part of one of TV Land's favorite couples. You'll get extra candy if you can wiggle your nose.

11. Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie at the Royal Wedding

Call us royally obsessed, but this will be on our list of favorite Halloween costumes for a while. You need nude pumps and the desire to DIY something with felt and pipe cleaners. We know you can do it.

12. Jenny and Forrest Gump

Like peas and carrots. Dress the part by wearing hippie inspired pieces paired with a well-fitted uniform—or Forrest's other well-known costume, a short sleeve plaid button up and red baseball cap.

13. The Breakfast Club

A brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess, or a criminal. The options are endless for finding an outfit that best fits you and your plus one.

14. Casablanca

Trench coats and fedoras, oh my. Halloween never looked so good.

15. V-J Day

Sailor suit? Check. Nurses' outfit with white pumps? Check. File this one under a socially-acceptable excuse for PDA.
