It's official.

Language is ever-evolving, changing, flowing, making room for us to make important and beautiful additions that define the human experience. You know, like "face-palm" and "binge-watch."

On Tuesday, Merriam-Webster announced that they added over 1,000 words to the dictionary, "including terms from recent advances in science, borrowings from foreign languages, and words from tech, medicine, pop culture, sports, and everything in between."

One of the additions is something we'll probably be doing a lot this year: "side-eye."

Merriam-Webster also proved its ever-constant wokeness by adding "micro aggression." You go, MW.
