Shake Shack Manila Has a Special Menu For Your Dogs

While you munch on your ShackBurger, your furry friend can have his fill by your side.

With last week’s announcement that pets will now be allowed on public transport vehicles, Metro Manila is becoming a more dog-friendly destination and even the country’s first Shake Shack outlet will be weighing in.

Burger-hungry customers will be able to enjoy a meal with their pets at the soon-to-open al fresco dining area located at the first branch at Central Square Mall in BGC, starting May 10.

Filed under “Woof” in a separate part of the Shake Shack menu are two offerings fit for your furry companions. Shake Shack has partnered with Whole Pet Kitchen, a go-to for those who like to treat their four-legged friends to specially made treats and birthday cakes, to create its local iteration of ShackBurger dog biscuits. Bag-O-Bones (P345), which is ideal for takeaway, includes a bag of five ShackBurger dog biscuits. The Poochini, priced at P150, is a dish of ShackBurger dog biscuits in vanilla custard and peanut butter sauce.

Shake Shack’s affinity with dog owners started way back during its hot dog stand days. Since it began as a mobile hot dog cart in the busy Madison Square Park, it encountered many customers who were out for a walk with their dogs and these menu items are a nod to that time.
