Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington Are Teaming Up on a New TV Show
Big Little Lies fans, prepare for your next favorite series brought to life by the genius of Reese Witherspoon. Witherspoon is teaming up with Kerry Washington to produce and star in an adaptation of Little Fires Everywhere, Celeste Ng's best-selling book, Variety reports.

Little Fires Everywhere follows two families living in Shaker Heights, Ohio, where a dramatic custody battle over a Chinese-American baby tears the town apart. Ng, the author of the novel, has also signed on as a producer, while Liz Tigelaar will write the adaptation. Little Fires Everywhere was the September 2017 pick for Witherspoon's book club, Reese's Book Club x Hello Sunshine:
This is the latest major production project for Witherspoon, who brought the critical darling Big Little Lies to life on HBO. She is also starring and producing a new drama series with Jennifer Aniston. Washington, for her part, is wrapping up her starring role as Olivia Pope on Scandal. Witherspoon and Washington joined forces on the project after both expressed interest in producing an adaptation of Little Fires Everywhere. They eventually brought in ABC Signature Studios, where they each have production deals, Deadline reports.
