The Crown Has Finally Cast Its Princess Anne

"They're getting rid of all of us," Claire Foy, who played Queen Elizabeth in seasons one and two of the show, told Vulture in December of last year. "After two seasons, that's it, I'm gone."
The casting of several of the other major players in this season
The series is reportedly filming now, but several roles still remain a mystery. Specifically, it has yet to be announced who will play the Queen Mother, Prince Charles, Princess Diana, and Camilla Parker Bowles.
Given that season three will cover the early 1970s, the role of Princess Anne will be a juicy one for Doherty. Not only will her first wedding to Mark Philips likely be a plot point, but so will her attempted kidnapping in 1974.
