Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa herself, may be known for her roast chicken, but when it comes to pantry staples, the two ingredients she always has on-hand are even simpler than her signature rustic dish.
In a new story from Bon Appetit, the Food Network host revealed that she always has eggs and butter in her fridge, at the ready to whip up whatever recipe she's craving.
The rapid-fire interview also factoids like Garten's favorite restaurant (Café de Flore in Paris), her favorite summer ingredient (avocado), and the food trend she can't stand (foam).
But the best part of the conversation was this gem: when asked what her "favorite song to cook to" was, she responded, "Oh that’s easy. Taylor Swift ‘1989.’ We listen to it over and over and over again."
