Champagne fanatics, prepare yourselves for perhaps the greatest innovation in the world of bubbly: a Champagne vending machine has landed in NYC.

This genius invention is the only one of its kind in New York. Filled with Moët & Chandon bottles of bubbly, the vending machine is located next to the new jazz age-inspired bar The Stayton Room, which is located at the Lexington Hotel, Autograph Collection in midtown Manhattan.

To use the vending machine, guests must first get a $25 gold coin (complete with the Moët & Chandon logo on it, of course) at The Stayton Room, and then they can dispense the drink of their choice. The vending machine features 200 mL bottles of Imperial Brut or Imperial Rosé, and each bottle is dispensed with a complimentary flute for an optimal drinking experience.

"We are extremely proud to unveil the first Moët & Chandon vending machine in New York City," the Lexington Hotel’s Director of Sales and Marketing William van Wassenhove said in a statement. "This is an exciting time for the Lexington Hotel, as we just introduced The Stayton Room, and we continue to evolve with this next chapter in our story. We are always looking for new and unique ways to engage with our guests, and what’s more fun than drinking Champagne straight from the bottle?"

The new Champagne offering also pays tribute to the hotel's most famous former resident, Marilyn Monroe. Monroe, whose drink of choice was often Champagne, once lived in suite 1806 (which is now appropriately named the Norma Jeane Suite) while married to Joe DiMaggio in the 1950s.

Champagne vending machines have previously popped up across the United States, including at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Las Vegas. That vending machine also sold mini bottles of Moët & Chandon, and it was the very first public Champagne vending machine in the country—but thankfully, not the last. You can watch that vending machine in action here:
