Four of Asia's top chefs will be sharing a kitchen on November 27, Tuesday, at Flame Restaurant, Discovery Primea. Coming together for the Asian Culinary Exchange 2018 are Vicky Cheng (Michelin-starred VEA in Hong Kong), Woo Wai Leong (MasterChef Asia), 2016 Best Female Chef in Asia Margarita Fores, and Luis Chikiamco (Discovery Primea). Philippine ingredients will be highlighted in their eight-course, eight-hands dinner.

As the Philippines settles into its role as a global culinary destination, local chefs have been coming up with more ways to fine-tune their skills. One wayand perhaps the most deliciousis through these collaboration dinners. From four to six to eight to even 10 hands, working with other chefs invites experimentation and exchange of ideas. The Asian Culinary Exchange aims to do exactly this but on a grander scale, complete with talks and other special dining setups in the week of the 26th.

In the past year, the Philippines has tasted the works of top chefs Gaggan Anand (owner of Asia's number one restaurant Gaggan), Hiroyasu Kawate (chef of Asia's 14th best restaurant Florilege), Alvin Cheung (the Demon Chef of Michelin-starred Bo Innovation) alongside the stylings of Gallery's Chele Gonzalez, Toyo Eatery's Jordy Navarra, and CIBO's Fores.
