Ina Garten is a household name. She's iconic in the kitchen. Like seriously, nothing beats her roast chicken recipe. NOTHING. And the other night, she revealed one of her biggest party secrets: the best way to build a cheese plate.

With a little help from Seth Meyer's—who said "I'm doing more than Jeffery's ever done" haha!—the beloved chef walks us through her ultimate appetizer.

First things first: Make a cocktail. Ina's drink of choice for party prep? An Aperol Spritz.

From there she plops a pile of grapes in the center and surrounds it with hunks of blue, brie, and pecorino cheeses. Then she fills in the gaps with figs and apricots. After that, she adds crackers and fresh-made jam (because of course Ina just made a batch of amazing jam). This is good, Ina, but our perfect cheese plate is pretty legit too.
