The Ford Ranger Continues to Sell Like Hotcakes in the Philippines
The American car manufacturer's local pickup truck offering continues to sell well, kicking off 2019 with impressive numbers. In the first quarter of this year, Ford Philippines has sold a total of 3,142 Ranger units—that's a 25% increase compared to the same period in 2018.
In March 2018 alone, the company managed to move 1,137 Ford Rangers. All this is part of the Ford Philippines' 5,560-unit sales first quarter of 2019.
“The Ranger is unmatched in terms of versatility and capability in the market, allowing it to remain one of the best-selling pickup trucks in the Philippines,” Bert Lessard, managing director of Ford Philippines said in a statement.
Can the Ford Ranger sustain this momentum heading further into 2019? If you keep buying them at this rate, there's no doubt the answer will be yes.
