See Inside Game of Thrones Star Rose Leslie's Childhood Castle Home
Ever wanted to live in a castle? Well, now’s your chance. Lickleyhead Castle, the childhood home of Games of Thrones star Rose Leslie, is now up for grabs with a starting price of £700,000 (roughly P50 million).
The 16th-century property is located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland has been in the possession of Clan Leslie since 1922. The castle has seven bedrooms and bathrooms, four reception rooms, two detached cottages, a kitchen, a walled garden, parklands, and woodland. The countryside property is about 10.7 acres.
It was the ideal place for Leslie and her four other siblings to grow up in. “I have such a love and affinity for the place. I adore it. We’re north of Aberdeen in the middle of the countryside, all trees, and nature. I feel very much at peace in Scotland,” Leslie said in an interview with the Scotsman.
Rose was a very active child and she and her brothers and sisters had a lot of ground to gallivant in. She was quite athletic and even played rugby with her brothers. “My brothers love rugby and, wanting to impress my older brother, I would become his dummy and let him practice on me. I love sports,” she added.
Lickleyhead Castle has been listed on Airbnb since 2015 and is hosted by Rose’s mom, Candy. It’s still listed, but the last review is from August while the more recent comments have been cancellations, so it’s unclear if guests can still make reservations.

You can catch Rose Leslie alongside Christine Baranski in The Good Fight, a spin-off of The Good Wife. She married her Game of Thrones co-star Kit Harington in her hometown back in June. The ceremony was held Rayne Church while the reception was at Wardhill Castle, a property also owned by Clan Leslie.
