See Inside a Massive Colorado Ranch on the Market for $8.275 Million

Marley Hodgson, who founded the leather goods company Ghurka, is selling the 250-acre compound.

Marley Hodgson, the man behind the leather goods company Ghurka, amassed quite a sizable compound that straddles the Smith Fork of the Gunnison River in Colorado. Now he's putting the 250-acre ranch up for sale for $8.275 million. Scroll down for a look inside.

The ranch is located in Crawford, Colorado, between Aspen and Telluride.

A "proud member of the Dude Ranchers' Association," Smith Fork Ranch is now open to guests.

The facilities include three cabins, two log guest homes, dining and kitchen areas known as Elk Lodge and Dinner Bell Cook House, an open entertaining space called Elk Lodge Pavilion, and owner's and staff quarters.

Set at an elevation of 7,200 feet, the ranch has notable views of the Rocky Mountains.

Two ranches were combined to create it in 1928.

It opened to guests in the late 1930s.

The property can sleep up to 28.

Here's the dining area.

Despite its location, the ranch has an extensive wine collection.

Its Wine Spectator-recognized cellar features more than 400 fine wines from around the world, and the ranch has a signature wine brand of its own.

There's a 250-foot equestrian arena.

And more than 150 miles of riding trails.

Visitors have had access to top-notch western gear.

No surprise.

A greenhouse and organic garden produce more than 80 varieties of herbs, fruits, and vegetables.

The land includes three private miles along the Gunnison River’s Smith Fork.

There are six stocked trout ponds, too.

For $8.275 million, here's your chance to own a ranch.

It's listed with Jim Cardamone, Jack Pretti, and Jeremiah Akers at Coldwell Banker Mason Morse.
