After philanthropist David Rockefeller died in March, his heirs put his Upper East Side townhouse up for sale. Now Ringing Point, his 14.5-acre estate on Mount Desert Island in Maine, is on the market, too. The Knowles Company is offering the property, which includes the main house, Rockefeller's study, and a guesthouse, for $19 million. Scroll down for a look around.

Ringing Point is located in the town of Seal Harbor, Maine, on Mount Desert Island.

It was purchased by David's father, John D. Rockefeller, in the 1960s.


David's wife, Peggy, designed the seven-bedroom main house in 1972.
