Honor both wonderful mothers and mother figures on Mother’s Day. If you’re at a loss for what to do, here are a few ideas that will surely show your appreciation for the woman who deserves the world.

SPA DAY

With specialized luxury treatments, Shangri-La at the Fort’s Spa at Kerry Sports Manila is the perfect space for relaxation. This Mother’s Day, the hotel is offering a Mom’s Day Out with two packages: the Healthy Momma, which begins with a 60-minute massage then a 60-minute facial treatment and ends with a light snack at Kerry Sprouts; and Mommy, Me & Tea, a spa package for two that starts with a 60-minute massage, 30-minute scrub, and ends with a tea party at High Street Lounge.

To schedule a treatment, call 802.0888 or email [email protected]

A NEW SCENT

Make your mom smile with a classic Mother’s Day gift: perfume. Bloom, the first fragrance under Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele, is blended by master perfumer Alberto Morillas. Natural tuberose, harvested from India, is combined with jasmine bud extract and Rangoon Creeper for a slightly powdery scent.

Gucci fragrances are available at Rustan’s The Beauty Source.

TRUSTY LOAFERS

Using sophisticated florals and springtime hues, Swiss fashion brand Bally’s Mother’s Day collection will elevate your mom’s wardrobe. Out of the collection, we’re looking at the Lottie loafer. The Moroccan babouche-style slipper is hand-crafted in Italy and guarantees “supreme all-day comfort.”

Bally is located at Greenbelt 5, Rustan’s Makati, Shangri-La Plaza, and Newport Mall.
