Finding modern yet homey furniture and decor is a hard task. Most pieces tend to be too structural, and in turn, make for a cold home environment.

We found some sophisticated pieces that challenge the modern aesthetic's reputation in Italian furniture brand Minotti’s Home Anthology Collection. “The latest Minotti collection uses exclusive materials and surprising combinations—wood, stone, glass, fabrics, and leather—with amazing textures and colors that kindle feelings of warmth,” said Minotti Philippines' Ferdie Ong. “Each piece has its own unmistakable personality and is capable of weaving a thought-provoking conversation in an intricate interplay of shapes, materials, and fresh influences.”

There is the Lawrence, a sleek seating system that perfectly embodies the Italian brand’s classic-modern spirit. Multi-functional and versatile, the Lawrence comes in two versions with differing armrest heights. The high armrest is substantially thinner than the low, allowing you to lie comfortably on the sofa.

The Fil Noir harmoniously blends elegance and comfort through Minotti’s unique choice of material. The curved chair’s external structure provides a formal touch while a cushion lends supports using the flexible thermoformed material and polyurethane foam. Adding to the chair’s elegance is a combination of matte black metal tubing with gold-finished corners.

An impressive set of sideboards, coffee tables, and nightstands is found in the Lou Collection. Drawing inspiration from tree trunks, the collection features fluid and organic shapes done in contrasting materials such as lacquer, plywood, and marble. A standout is the Lou coffee table which is fully rotatable due to its swivel base.

Taking inspiration from the mid-century, the Colette armchair is a flawless example of experimental shapes and sophisticated gilded accents. The Colette’s external structure is calendered, assembled, and welded at almost 300 points and owes its finish to a white-gold galvanization process. Minotti lets you choose from two heights and two finishes: Light Gold and Black-Nickel.

A striking accent piece takes shape in the Noor coffee table. Made to resemble two truncated cones, the Noor is made using an ancient, hand-crafted technique. It is then finished with a glaze, with an option of two metal finishes: bronze or platinum. The ceramic coffee table gives a touch of uniqueness and elegance to any room.
