Mom and I recently enjoyed an overnight sleepover at the Shangri-La at the Fort to experience first-hand La Prairie’s most luxurious and most rejuvenating creation yet.

After dinner and a hot bath, we tucked ourselves in bed and surrendered ourselves to the experienced hands of La Prairie’s estheticians for a decadent facial using the Platinum Rare Cellular line, highlighting its Night Elixir.

A 20 ml. bottle of the Platinum Rare Cellular Night Elixir costs P61,750. It is enough for about 25 days, with one drop of the cashmere-textured potion applied to the face and neck just before bedtime.

The new ultra-premium collection adds the Advanced Platinum Complex to its signature age-defying Cellular Complex, first created in the 1930s at La Prairie’s laboratories in Clarens-Montreau, Switzerland.

La Prairie’s scientists believe in the renewing power of the night. They studied the vital functions of nutrition, respiration, detoxication and immunity in developing the new elixir, which removes impurities, helps the skin breathe, infuses nutrients, and boosts its self-defense mechanisms.

The next morning, after hours of deep slumber, we awoke to tighter, more radiant skin, with visibly reduced wrinkles and imperfections. I confidently went out and about makeup free for the rest of the week.
